It is too hot for scarves, so John has been making these needle-felted creatures with roving, Icelandic wool and a tiny bell. Named after characters from Dante’s “Inferno,” they make good company and come in a bag woven and hand sewn by John, with a handmade drawstring and label. It all takes 3 or 4 hours of work.

This one is called Malacoda.

Proceeds go to the CFSC Quakers Reconciliation Fund to support grassroots community-based decolonization/Indigenization projects, chosen by a consultation committee of Indigenous individuals.

One of a kind, fifty Canadian dollars.
